Here at Nursing for Nurses we are WELL-rounded! We focus on the Mental, Physical, Emotional, & Financial Health of ALL Nurses
Alexandria Brown, Indianapolis, IN native has taken her passion for caring for others and positive outlook on life to a new level. She is currently a Registered Nurse pursuing her Family Nurse Practitioner license but began in customer service in 2011. Getting her GED at Job Corps, one of the certifications they offered was Certified Nurse Assistant. She enjoyed the program, but she wanted more. A friend of hers was in nursing school as they still worked in customer service at the time. She encouraged Alexandria to keep going further towards nursing school. Alexandria moved onto work doing home healthcare with geriatric/older adults with disabilities in 2012 while attending nursing school, and enjoyed it. Since graduating her nursing program she has been primarily working with the geriatric population doing LTC since. During this time, Alexandria recognized some things that prompted her to make a positive change. While working during clinicals and internships she attempted with residency programs she struggled with cultures at some facilities. With LTC Alexandria thoroughly enjoyed the process as it was more of a consistent flow and there were more concrete treatments. She wanted to gain more knowledge, so she tapped into long term acute care for two years and spent that time at agencies, learning to pick up a more constructive changes in the industry. There was still a yearning for more. Alexandria had other interests that she wanted to expound upon, so she set her focus on that, however she didn’t want to leave nursing. She fell in love with travel nurse work. She’s always loved to travel, wanting to see every part of the world with her own eyes, and experience different people, their cultures, and a variety of foods. The more she traveled, the more she realized this was the life she wanted to pursue. Being able to work with different structures in healthcare facilities and personalities overall, was truly a learning experience, and she enjoyed to freedom of getting to work freely and still be able to support herself. She knows many nurses are pushed to “find somewhere to call home,” but Alexandria feels like you can’t do that by staying in one place. Not to mention, it isn’t conducive to their mental health. Not only did she love to travel, she also maintained multiple incomes, which is vital when becoming a travel nurse. She still holds her agency jobs for per diem work, and she is currently at Emory Healthcare full time while she works as an internal medicine nurse in their clinic, in the top University in the state of Georgia. There she is gaining more professional experience, mentorship, and guidance. She wants to assist nurses to be a well-rounded entity, focused on healthcare, mental, physical, and emotional health. This is how Nursing for Nurses LLC, was born in May 2021. The mental health and well-being of nurses is critical in the health care field and Alexandria wants to use her expertise to guide them in caring for it. Alexandria made a major shift in her lifestyle when she started foreign exchange currency trading. She used her bubbly attitude to build clientele organically by telephone and word of mouth and gained a bigger audience with social media as opposed to not using it at all. Currently with the Spartan team of training and foreign exchange, she is now amongst the top in the 50-trading bracket, and affiliated with Xtreme Global Trading, real estate, HFX and crypto. She is also currently curating her social media presence while improving her physical health as a certified Pilates instructor and working to become licensed Yoga instructor. By instructing, she wants to give nurses a healthier outlet. She has taught classes in Evolation Yoga Atlanta in Atlanta as well as the Hot Room in Indianapolis. She's now focusing on being able to utilize fitness as a healthy mental health release outlet so that she may support her clients through phases of their careers.

Nursing for Nurses, established in 2021 in the midst of the pandemic, was created to give value to very important individuals that need care the most - NURSES. Often providing quality care to friends, family members, and their patients, carrying the other weight of the worldly demands on their shoulders. This often leads to the neglect of their own self-care. Being forced into challenging positions whether working long hours without proper staffing, supplies, or out of the field completely with mandates; the effects of the sudden shift in healthcare takes a toll on the overall health of many nurses. This is why Founder Alexandria Brown, felt the need to assist her fellow healthcare peers with support to get through these trying times. As a result of also being faced with these challenges and hearing the cries from them, Nursing for Nurses was formed, now flourishing, and is available to you!
